Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Shift the transmission to "N".

  2. Loosen the nut (A) and remove the shift cable clip (B).

    Tightening Torque: 9.8–14.7 N·m

  3. Remove the shift lever.

    (Refer to Automatic Transmission Control System - Shift Lever)

  4. Then remove the shift cable by pulling it toward the vehicle interior.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
