Repair Procedures

Removal

   Shift the transmission to "N".

   Remove the knob (A) by pulling it in the direction of the arrow after removing the boot from the upper console cover.

   Remove the floor console assembly.

   (Refer to Body - Floor Console Assembly)

   Disconnect the shift lever main connector.

5. 5

   Remove the shift lever (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

   Tightening torque: 8.8–13.7 N·m

   

6. 6

   Remove the lock pin (A) and the shift cable clip (B).

   

7. 7

   Remove the shift cable from the shift lever after loosening the screw (A).

   Tightening torque:

   0.69 - 1.4 N·m (0.07 - 0.14 kgf·m, 0.51 - 1.01 ft-lbf, 6.08 - 12.15 in-lbf)

   

Installation

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
