Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Remove the park release cable after loosening the bolt (A).

  2. Remove the park release cable from the bracket after loosening the bolt (A).

    Tightening torque: 12.7–15.7 N·m

  3. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - Floor Console Assembly)

  4. Remove the wire clip (A) from the park release actuator.

  5. Loosen the park release actuator mounting nuts (A, B).

    Tightening torque:

    (A) 9,8–14.7 N·m

    (B) 8,8–13.7 N·m

  6. Remove the bracket (A).

    Tightening torque: 8.8–13.7 N·m

  7. Disconnect the park release actuator connector (A). Then remove the cable by pulling it toward the passenger compartment.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
