Description and Operation
Description
The speed sensor is integrated into the E-module.
The speed sensor uses an electric current type Hall sensor, in which the current is changed
The speed sensor measures the rotational speed of the input and output shafts inside the transmission and sends the readings to the TCM.
The sensor provides important inputs used in feedback control, torque converter clutch control, shift control, line pressure control, clutch pressure activation control, and sensor malfunction analysis.
