Headlamp (low beam/high beam), replacement of light source (headlamp type B)

1. Öffnen Sie die Motorhaube.

2. Remove the headlamp bulb cover by turning it counterclockwise.

3. Disconnect the connector from the headlamp bulb.

4. Entfernen Sie die Leuchtmittelfassung aus der Scheinwerferbaugruppe, indem Sie die Leuchtmittelfassung nach links drehen, bis die Nasen der Leuchtmittelfassung mit den Schlitzen der Scheinwerferbaugruppe übereinstimen.

5. Install a new bulb socket into the headlamp assembly by aligning the socket locking tabs with the recesses in the headlamp assembly. Push the socket into the headlamp assembly and turn it clockwise.

6. Install the headlamp cover by turning it clockwise.

Halogen Bulbs

• Halogen lamps are filled with pressurized gas, which can scatter glass fragments into the surroundings if the glass bulb is damaged.
• Handle them carefully and avoid scratches. Do not allow illuminated bulbs to come into contact with liquids. Never touch the glass bulb with bare fingers. Residual grease can cause the bulb to burst when switched on. Only operate a halogen bulb when it is installed.
• Wenn eine Glühlampe beschädigt oder durchgebrant ist, ersetzen Sie diese sobald als möglich und entsorgen Sie die defekte Glühlampe sorgfältig.
• Wear protective goggles when replacing bulbs. Let the bulb cool before removing it.
