Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove Lower Panel Cover [LH]

    (Refer to Body — Crash Pad Garnish)

  4. Remove the lower crash pad panel cover after loosening the mounting screws.

  5. Disconnect the connector of the lower crash pad switch (A).

  6. Turn on the LKA switch, then check the continuity between the terminals.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove Lower Panel Cover [LH]

    (Refer to Body — Crash Pad Garnish)

  4. Remove the lower crash pad panel cover after loosening the mounting screws.

  5. Disconnect the connector of the lower crash pad switch (A).

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
