Automatic Engine Stop

To stop the engine automatically when it is at idle speed

   Decelerate until the vehicle speed drops below 5 km/h.

   Move the transmission to N (Neutral).

   Release the clutch pedal.

The engine will stop, and the green AUTO STOP indicator () will illuminate on the instrument cluster (Automatic Engine Stop).

In addition, the "Auto Stop" message will be shown on the LCD display.

NOTE The vehicle must reach a speed of at least 10 km/h after the last automatic engine stop at idle.

NOTE If the driver's seat belt is unfastened or the driver's door (or the hood) is opened in automatic stop mode, the following will occur:

• The ISG system is deactivated (the indicator light on the ISG OFF button will illuminate).

• The message "ISG limited. Start manually" (Auto stop limited, manual start) is displayed on the LCD.
