The ISG system will activate when the following condition is met:

  • The driver's seat belt must be fastened.
  • The driver's door and the hood must be closed.
  • The brake vacuum is adequate.
  • The battery is sufficiently charged.
  • The outside temperature is between -2°C and 35 °C.
  • The engine coolant temperature must not be excessively low.

NOTE

  • If the respective operating condition is not met, the ISG system is deactivated. The indicator light on the ISG OFF button will illuminate and the message "Conditions for auto stop not met" will appear on the LCD.
  • If the indicator light and the message appear at the same time, check the operating conditions.
