Disattivazione del sistema ISG
  • To deactivate the ISG system, press the ISG OFF button. The indicator light on the ISG OFF button will illuminate and the message "Auto stop system OFF" will appear on the LCD.
  • Press the ISG OFF button again to activate the system; the ISG OFF button indicator light will turn off.

ISG System Malfunction

The system may not operate when: A fault occurs in the ISG system sensors or in the system itself.

The following will happen:

  • The yellow AUTO STOP (Engine auto stop) indicator () on the instrument cluster remains on after flashing for 5 seconds.

NOTE

  • If the ISG OFF button indicator light does not turn off when the ISG OFF button is pressed again, or if the ISG system continues to malfunction, contact an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
  • If the ISG OFF button indicator light comes on, the vehicle must be driven at a speed of approximately 80 km/h for no more than two hours with the blower fan speed control set to a position below the 2nd. If the ISG OFF button indicator light remains on, contact an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
CAUTION When the engine is in stop mode, it may restart without any action by the driver.

Stop the engine by turning the ignition switch to the LOCK/OFF position or removing the key before leaving the vehicle or working in the engine compartment.
