Driving in hazardous conditions
In this manual: Driving in hazardous conditions
~1min read

When facing hazardous driving conditions, such as rain, snow, ice, sand, or similar hazards, follow these guidelines:
- Proceed with caution and keep a greater safe braking distance.
- Avoid abrupt braking and steering inputs.
- When braking in vehicles without ABS, pump the brake pedal with light pressing and releasing motions until the vehicle stops.
- If stopped in snow or sand, start in second gear. Accelerate slowly to prevent the driving wheels from spinning.
- When stopped on ice, snow, or mud, place sand, salt, chains, or other non-slip material under the driving wheels.
