Wiper blades
Blade inspection

NOTE Hot waxes applied by automatic car washes are known to make the windshield difficult to clean.
Contamination of the windshield and the blades by foreign material can reduce wiper efficiency. Common sources of contamination are insects, tree resin, and the hot wax treatments used by some car washes. If the blades do not wipe well, clean both the glass and the blades with a good-quality dedicated cleaner or with mild soap, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
WARNING To prevent damage to the blades, do not use petrol, kerosene, paint thinner or other solvents on them or near them.Blade replacement
When the wipers no longer clean adequately, the blades may be worn or damaged and must be replaced.
WARNING To prevent damage to the wiper arms or other components, do not attempt to move the wipers by hand. WARNING Using a non-specified wiper blade may cause malfunctions and failures.
