Follow normal scheduled maintenance if the vehicle is regularly used where none of the conditions below apply. If any of the following conditions apply, follow severe operating conditions maintenance.
- Repeated short trips of less than 8 km at normal temperatures or less than 16 km in cold temperatures
- Prolonged idling or low-speed driving over long distances
- Driving on rough, dusty, muddy, unpaved, gravel or salted roads
- Driving in areas where salt or other corrosive materials are used, or in severe climatic conditions
- Driving in areas with heavy dust
- Driving in heavy traffic areas
- Repeated driving on uphill, downhill or mountain roads
- Towing a trailer, using a camper or roof rack
- Use of the vehicle as a patrol car, taxi, or commercial vehicle, or for towing
- Driving at speeds over 170 km/h
- Use in conditions involving frequent stopping and starting
If the vehicle is used under the conditions above, inspections, replacements and fluid top-ups must be performed more frequently than prescribed in normal scheduled maintenance.
Once the period or mileage shown in the schedule has been exceeded, continue to follow the scheduled maintenance intervals specified by the manufacturer.
