Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove the side air bag switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

  1. Install the side air bag switch.

  2. Install the emergency pad lower panel.

  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. Check the voltage of the new dimmer switch. If the light intensity of the lamp changes smoothly without flickering when the dimmer is turned, the dimmer switch is considered normal.
