Vehicles with an automatic transmission cannot be started by pushing.

To start the vehicle using an auxiliary battery, follow the instructions in this section.

WARNING Never tow the vehicle to start it, because the sudden forward movement of the vehicle after the engine starts could cause a collision with the towing vehicle.
