Check the vehicle tires periodically by performing the following inspections:
- Measure the tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge. Adjust to the correct pressure if necessary.
- Check tire pressure when the tires are cold, otherwise readings will be inaccurate.
- When inflating the tire gradually, check the pressure from time to time until the correct value is reached.
- Tires should never be inflated to a pressure that is too low or too high. Too low a pressure may cause abnormal handling characteristics or cause the bead to slip off the rim edge, resulting in an accident or damage to the tire or wheel. Excessive pressure may cause the tire to burst and cause personal injury. It may also cause abnormal handling characteristics and an accident.

- Check that the tread groove depth exceeds 1.6 mm. To help with this check, the tires have tread wear indicators in the grooves. When the wear indicators appear on the tread surface, the remaining tread depth is 1.6 mm or less and the tires must be replaced.
- Check for abnormal wear, cracks and damage. Tires with cracks or other damage should be replaced. If any tire shows abnormal wear, have it inspected at a SUZUKI service station.
- Check that the wheel nuts are not loose.
- Check the tires for nails, stones, etc.
