Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Отсоедините сначала клемму отрицательного полюса, затем клемму положительного

1. First disconnect the negative terminal clamp, then the positive terminal clamp, by loosening the nuts and bolts (indicated by arrows).
2. Disconnect both cables from the battery, starting with the negative cable.
3. Remove the battery hold-down clamp.
4. Lift out the battery. Note that the battery is heavy.
5. After removing the battery, inspect the battery tray for corrosion.
6. When replacing the battery, make sure the new battery's specifications (dimensions, capacity and cold cranking current) are exactly the same as those of the battery being replaced.

Installation

The battery is installed in the reverse order.
