Condizioni della funzione Start/Stop

Per il funzionamento della funzione Start/Stop devono essere soddisfatte determinate condizioni.

Se una delle condizioni non è soddisfatta, ciò viene indicato nel quadro strumenti.

Il motore non si arresta automaticamente

Il motore non si arresterà automaticamente se:

• Il veicolo non ha raggiunto la velocità di 10 km/h dopo l'avviamento.
• After several auto-stops, the speed must again exceed approximately ca 10 km/h before the next auto-stop.
• Il conducente non ha allacciato la cintura di sicurezza.
• Il motore non ha raggiunto la normale temperatura di esercizio.
• The ambient temperature is under approximately -5 °C (23 °F) or over approximately 30 °C.
• È attivo il riscaldamento del parabrezza.
• The climate system settings and the actual climate in the passenger compartment differ.
• Il veicolo è in retromarcia.
• Il conducente sta effettuando ampie rotazioni del volante.
• La pendenza della strada è molto ripida.
• Cofano aperto.
• Driving at high altitude and the engine has not reached its normal operating temperature.
• L'ABS è stato attivato.
• Frenata brusca (anche se il sistema ABS non è stato attivato).
• Many starts during a short period of time have triggered the starter motor's overheating protection.
• Il filtro antiparticolato dello scarico è pieno.
• Il rimorchio è collegato all'impianto elettrico del veicolo.
• La trasmissione non funziona alla normale temperatura di esercizio.
• The gear selector is in mode M (±).
• Se le condizioni di guida lo consentono (ad esempio nel traffico).

Il motore non si avvia

Il motore non si riavvia automaticamente dopo l'arresto automatico se:

The driver is not wearing a seat belt, the gear selector is in the P position and the driver's door is open. The engine must be started normally.

Avviamento automatico del motore con il pedale del freno premuto

In the following situations, the engine will auto-start even if the brake pedal is depressed:

• Elevata condensa sulla superficie interna dei finestrini.
• The climate system settings and the actual climate in the passenger compartment differ.
• Il pedale del freno pulsa ripetutamente.
• Cofano aperto.
• The vehicle begins to roll or increases speed slightly if the engine auto-stopped before the vehicle was at a standstill.
• The driver's seat belt is unbuckled with the gear selector in the D or N positions.
• The gear selector is moved from D to R or M (±).
• The driver's door is opened with the gear selector in D. An audible signal and a text message informs the driver that the ignition is on.
