Condiciones de la función de arranque/parada

Para que la función de arranque/parada funcione, deben cumplirse ciertas condiciones.

Si no se cumple alguna condición, se indicará en el cuadro de instrumentos.

El motor no se detiene automáticamente

El motor no se detendrá automáticamente si:

• El vehículo no ha alcanzado la velocidad de 10 km/h tras el arranque.
• After several auto-stops, the speed must again exceed approximately ca 10 km/h before the next auto-stop.
• El conductor no se ha abrochado el cinturón de seguridad.
• El motor no está a la temperatura de funcionamiento normal.
• The ambient temperature is under approximately -5 °C (23 °F) or over approximately 30 °C.
• Se activa el calefactor del parabrisas.
• The climate system settings and the actual climate in the passenger compartment differ.
• El vehículo va marcha atrás.
• El conductor realiza movimientos bruscos del volante.
• La pendiente de la carretera es muy pronunciada.
• El capó está abierto.
• Driving at high altitude and the engine has not reached its normal operating temperature.
• Se ha activado el ABS.
• Frenado brusco (incluso si el sistema ABS no se ha activado).
• Many starts during a short period of time have triggered the starter motor's overheating protection.
• El filtro de partículas del sistema de escape está lleno.
• El remolque está conectado al sistema eléctrico del vehículo.
• La transmisión no funciona a la temperatura normal de funcionamiento.
• The gear selector is in mode M (±).
• Si las condiciones de conducción lo permiten (por ejemplo, en un atasco).

El motor no arranca

El motor no se reiniciará automáticamente después de la parada automática si:

The driver is not wearing a seat belt, the gear selector is in the P position and the driver's door is open. The engine must be started normally.

Arranque automático del motor mientras el pedal de freno está pisado

In the following situations, the engine will auto-start even if the brake pedal is depressed:

• Alto nivel de condensación en la superficie interior de los cristales.
• The climate system settings and the actual climate in the passenger compartment differ.
• El pedal de freno se hunde repetidamente.
• El capó está abierto.
• The vehicle begins to roll or increases speed slightly if the engine auto-stopped before the vehicle was at a standstill.
• The driver's seat belt is unbuckled with the gear selector in the D or N positions.
• The gear selector is moved from D to R or M (±).
• The driver's door is opened with the gear selector in D. An audible signal and a text message informs the driver that the ignition is on.
