Attivazione e disattivazione

An integrated compass1 in the upper right corner of the rearview mirror shows the direction the vehicle is traveling.

Disattivazione/attivazione manuale delle bussole:

  • Use a paper clip or similar object to press the button on the bottom of the mirror.
    • If the compass is deactivated when the vehicle is switched off, it will not be activated the next time the vehicle is started. The compass will then need to be activated manually.

Calibrazione della bussola

(Optional/accessorio.)

The globe is divided into 15 magnetic zones. The compass1 should be calibrated if the vehicle is driven from one zone to another.

  1. Stop the vehicle in a large, open area away from steel constructions and high-voltage power lines.
  2. Start the engine and switch off all electrical equipment (climate system, wipers, etc.) and make sure all doors are closed.
  3. Hold the button on the bottom of the rearview mirror pressed for about 3 seconds (using e.g. a paper clip). The number of the current magnetic zone is shown.

  4. 4. Press the button on the underside of the mirror repeatedly until the desired magnetic zone (1–15) appears (see the map of magnetic zones).
  5. Attendere finché il display non mostra di nuovo C, oppure premere e tenere premuto il pulsante sul lato inferiore dello specchietto retrovisore per circa 6 secondi, finché non compare.
  6. Guidare lentamente in cerchio a una velocità non superiore a 10 km/h finché sul display non viene visualizzata una direzione della bussola. Ciò indica che la calibrazione è completa. Percorrere il cerchio altre due volte per completare la calibrazione.
  7. Veicoli con parabrezza riscaldato*: se sul display viene visualizzato C quando la funzione di riscaldamento del parabrezza è attivata, eseguire il punto 6 sopra con la funzione di riscaldamento attiva.
  8. Ripetere la procedura sopra indicata secondo necessità.
