The double pipe clamp joins two pipe sections together while allowing them to be easily separated. Important: the double pipe clamp must not be reused. It must be replaced after loosening only a single bolted connection.


PROCEDURE

Mark the position of the clamp for later installation.

Loosen the connections on the double pipe clamp; before doing so, treat the threads with rust remover.

If the connection still cannot be separated, cut the bolt/nut using a cut-off machine.

Alternatively, cut the nut off with a cold chisel. Tightening torque for connections: 40 N·m.
