Installing a child seat is not permitted in some seating positions. The diagram on the next page shows where a child seat can be installed.

The child seat types listed may not be available. Before using another child seat, check with the manufacturer that it can be installed.

It is best to install the child seat on the rear seat. Make sure the child seat is installed in the vehicle so that there is no risk of it coming loose from its base. If the headrest had to be removed, make sure it is stored properly so that it cannot be thrown forward in the event of sudden braking or a collision. A child seat should always be secured in the vehicle, even when not in use, so that it cannot be thrown forward in the event of sudden braking or a collision.
