In the rear side seat

~1min read

The cot is installed transversely to the direction of travel and occupies at least two seats. The child's head must be positioned on the side opposite the door.

Before installing a child seat on the rear side seat using the ISOFIX anchorages, check that the seat belt buckles are not located between the two ISOFIX anchorages at that seat. If necessary, move the seat belt buckle at that seat toward the interior of the vehicle.

To install a rear-facing child seat, move the front passenger seat fully forward, then move the seat in front of the child seat fully rearward so that it does not touch the child seat.

To ensure the safety of a child seated forward-facing, do not move the seat in front of the child further rearward than the middle position of the guide rail, do not recline the backrest at too large an angle (maximum 25°), and raise the seat to its highest position.

Check that the forward-facing child seat rests against the vehicle seat back. Adjust the head restraint height or remove it if necessary.
