Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Loosen the tension and remove the air conditioning compressor drive belt..

3. Loosen the alternator mounting and release the drive belt..

4. Hold pulley A from turning with a 9 mm wrench, unscrew bolts B and remove pulley A..

5. Remove timing belt front cover 73 by unscrewing 2 bolts.

6. Hold camshaft from turning with a 24 mm wrench, unscrew bolt 159, remove washer 158 and pulley.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Hold camshaft from turning with a 24 mm wrench, install pulley and washer 158, then tighten bolt 159.

2. Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt to 155 N·m torque..

3. Install timing belt front cover 73 and tighten 2 bolts.

4. Power steering pump pulley. Hold the pulley from turning with a 9 mm wrench,.

install three bolts B..

5. Install the belts on the alternator pulley and the compressor pulley..

6. Negative battery cable.
