1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.


Removal of camshaft sprocket

2. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the valve cover and the electrical terminals (see illustration. Air cleaner duct and electrical connectors)..

3. Air cleaner..

4. Alternator and air conditioning compressor V-belts..

5. Power steering pump pulley (see illustration. Removal of power steering pump pulley)..

6. Install timing belt front cover 73..

7. Valve cover 7..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

8. Hold camshaft 19 from turning with a wrench, unscrew bolt 65 and remove sprocket

1. Both camshaft sprockets 63 onto the camshafts

2. Tighten the gear mounting bolt to torque 67 N·m..

3. Valve mechanism cover 7..

3. Valve cover 7..

4. Timing belt front cover 73 and power steering pump pulley..

5. Alternator and air conditioning compressor V-belts..

6. Air cleaner..

8. Connect the negative battery cable.
