Switching on recirculation mode and switching on the AQS function (Air Quality System)
The button
press.
Recirculation mode operates in three modes:
- Automatic control, indicated by the letters AQS on the display and by the LED on the button being off
; - Forced off (recirculation always off, with outside air entering), indicated by the LED on the button being off
; - Forced on (recirculation always on), indicated by the LED on the button being on
.
When the OFF button is pressed, the air conditioning automatically activates recirculation mode (LED on the button
lit). Pressing the
button
can be used to always allow outside air to enter (LED on the button off) and vice versa.
When the OFF button is pressed (LED on the button lit), the AQS function (Air Quality System) cannot be switched on.
Note: depending on the selected mode ("heating" or "cooling"), recirculation mode allows the desired conditions to be reached faster.
Switching on recirculation mode should be avoided on rainy/cold days, as this would increase fogging of the windows when the air conditioning is not on. It is advisable to switch on recirculation mode in traffic jams or in tunnels, to avoid polluted outside air entering. However, prolonged use is not advisable, especially with several vehicle occupants, and to avoid fogging on the windows.
Enabling the AQS function (Air Quality System)The AQS function (AQS appears on the display) automatically activates recirculation mode when polluted outside air is detected (for example in traffic jams or when driving through a tunnel).
Note: when the AQS function is switched on, after 15 minutes of continuous recirculation mode the air conditioning allows outside air to enter for approximately 1 minute, regardless of the level of pollution in the outside air.
Equalising the set temperatures (MONO function)To equalise the temperature on the driver and passenger sides, press the MONO button.
Then turn the rotary control AUTO or MONO to increase/decrease the same temperature value in both zones.
Pressing the MONO button again switches the function off.
