Quick defogging/defrosting of the front windows (MAX-DEF function)

Pressing the buttonactivates
automatically, on a timer, all functions necessary for quick defogging/defrosting of the windscreen and front side windows, i.e.:

• Switching on the air conditioning compressor (at outside temperatures above 4°C);
• Switching off recirculation mode, if previously on (LED on the buttonis off
  );
• Switching on the rear window heater (LED on the buttonis on)
  and the heated exterior mirrors;
• Setting the maximum air temperature;
• Setting the useful air volume.

Demisting/defrosting of the rear window and the outside mirrors

Pressing the buttonactivates
this function: switching on of the function is indicated by the LED on the button itself lighting up.

This function has a timer and switches off automatically after 20 minutes.

To switch off the heating function early, press the button.

Note: do not stick labels on the inside of the heated rear window in the area of the heating elements, to avoid damage.

To allow outside air to enter, press the button(in
this case the LED on the button is off).
