Securing luggage

The luggage compartment has two anchor points, fig. 93, for attaching ropes to secure the cargo, as well as two anchor points on the rear crossmember, fig. 94.

Note: do not secure a load weighing more than 100 kg to only one ring.

An unsecured heavy item of luggage may seriously injure occupants in an accident.

When travelling through an area where refuelling is difficult and a spare fuel canister is carried, observe the legal regulations. Use only an approved spare fuel canister. It must be correctly secured to the fastening rings. The risk of fire nevertheless increases in an accident.
