Ford Escape. Parking Aid Indicators

The system displays object distance information through the information and entertainment display.

  • As the distance to the object decreases, the indicator flashes and the lines move toward the vehicle icon.
  • If no object is detected, the distance indicator lines are displayed in gray.

The visual indication remains on when the vehicle is moving in Reverse (R). In any other gear, when you stop your vehicle, the visual indication turns off after four seconds.

If Parking Aid is unavailable, the side distance indicator lines are not displayed.
