The windshield wiper is operated by moving the control lever up or down.

MIST - The wiper operates at high speed as long as the lever is held.

OFF - The wiper is off.

INT - In intermittent mode, the wiper blades perform one cycle every few seconds.

For some vehicle variants

The pause time between wiper sweeps depends on vehicle speed. The pause time can be adjusted with the adjustment ring. If you set the minimum pause (position 20 км/ч стеклоочиститель автоматически перейдет в непрерывный режим работы на низкой), the wiper will automatically change to continuous low-speed operation when vehicle speed exceeds 20 km/h.

With the vehicle stationary and a gear engaged, the wiper blades will perform one cycle each time the brake pedal is released.

LO - Continuous wiper operation at low speed.

HI - Continuous wiper operation at high speed.

Windshield washer - To operate the windshield washer, pull the control lever toward you and hold it. Washer fluid will be sprayed onto the windshield until you release the lever. The wiper will operate at low speed at the same time as the washer.

After you release the lever, the wiper blades will perform several more cycles and then return to their rest position.

On certain vehicle variants

When the windshield washer is activated with the headlights on, the headlight washers will operate under certain conditions. For more information, refer to "Headlight Washers".
