Headlight Washers (for some vehicle versions)

To activate the headlight washers, press the headlight washer button located next to the steering column.

For this function to work, the headlights must be on. In addition, the headlight washers operate automatically the first time the windshield washer is activated after the ignition switch is turned to ON (II).

Headlight washers use fluid from the same reservoir as the windshield washer.

Automatic Rain-Sensing Wipers

For some vehicle variants

The automatic windshield wiper is controlled by the rain sensor. To activate this mode, move the wiper control lever down to the AUTO position.

If the system detects rain, it will automatically turn on the wiper and adjust the wiping frequency according to rain intensity (that is, intermittent operation or continuous operation at low or high speed).

If the wiper control lever is set to LO (low speed) or HI (high speed), the wiper will operate at the selected speed. Automatic operation does not function in these lever positions.

Do not use automatic wiper mode when driving through an automatic car wash. Switch the system off when it is not in use.

The rain sensor sensitivity can be adjusted by turning the ADJUSTMENT ring on the wiper control lever.

The rain sensor is located in the upper center part of the windshield, next to the inside rearview mirror. If the windshield in the area of the rain sensor is covered with dust, dirt, oil, etc., the wiper will not operate correctly.
