Rear Window Wiper and Washer

1. OFF - When the rear wiper switch is turned to OFF, the wiper blade returns to its rest position.

2. To turn on the rear window wiper, turn the switch clockwise.

The wiper will perform two cycles, then pause for seven seconds.

3. To operate the rear wiper and washer briefly at the same time, turn the switch past the ON position and hold it there.

4. To operate the rear wiper and washer at the same time, turn the switch counterclockwise.

If the windshield wiper is on, shifting into reverse will activate the rear wiper, even if the rear wiper switch is in the OFF position.

If the windshield wiper switch is in the INT or AUTO position, the rear wiper will operate in intermittent mode.

If the windshield wiper switch is in the LO or HI position, the rear wiper will operate in continuous mode.

The rear window washer uses fluid from the same reservoir as the windshield washer.

Turn signals – To activate the turn signals, push the lever down or up. For a lane change signal, lightly push the lever up or down and hold it until the maneuver is complete. The lever will automatically return to the neutral position when the turn is complete or when you release it.

Lane change signal

To signal a lane change, lightly push the lever in the desired direction and release it. The right or left turn signal and the turn signal indicator on the instrument panel will flash three times.

The turn signals will remain on until you release the lever.

If the light switch is in theorthe corresponding indicator on the instrument panel will illuminate to remind the driver that the lights are on.

The indicator will remain on if you leave the lights on and turn the ignition key to the ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0) position.

If you leave the exterior lights on and remove the ignition key, a chime will sound when you open the driver's door to remind you to turn off the lights to prevent battery discharge.
