Super Lock

The Super Lock feature helps protect the vehicle and its contents from theft. To activate Super Lock, turn the key toward the front of the vehicle twice within 5 seconds.

Super Lock will not activate if any door, including the liftgate, is not fully closed.

However, it will activate even if the hood is open or the windows are down.

When Super Lock is activated, the power door lock master switch on the driver's door and the lock buttons on all doors do not operate.

Super Lock can also be activated using the remote transmitter. To do so, press the lock button on the transmitter twice within 5 seconds.

To deactivate Super Lock, unlock the driver's door with the key or the remote transmitter.

For vehicles with ultrasonic sensor

The security system can only be disarmed using the remote transmitter. Unlocking the driver's door with the key will trigger the alarm.

If occupants remain in the vehicle after Super Lock is activated, they will not be able to open the doors from the inside.

Before activating Super Lock, make sure there are no passengers in the vehicle.

For vehicles with ultrasonic sensor

If you activate Super Lock with the windows open, the ultrasonic sensor may unexpectedly trigger the alarm if it detects strong vibration or loud noise.
