PROCEDURE

1. Ослабьте болт крепления рулевого вала к универсальному шарниру и снимите универсальный

1. Loosen the bolt securing the steering shaft to the universal joint, and remove the universal joint.
2. If necessary, remove the steering column lock. Cut slots in the heads of the shear bolts with a hacksaw. Unscrew the bolts with a flat-blade screwdriver and remove the steering column lock.

When installing the ignition lock, always use new shear-head bolts.

Do not disassemble the steering column and steering shaft.
