Power Steering Hoses

1 – return hose;
2 – reservoir;
3 – suction hose;
4 – pressure hose.

Return Hose Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Drain the fluid from the power steering hydraulic system.
2. Disconnect the return hose from the reservoir.
3. Remove the clamp securing the return hose to the vehicle body.
4. Disconnect the return hose from the steering gear.

Inspection

PROCEDURE

1. Check the hose for damage or deterioration.
2. Make sure there is no tension between the hose and other components.

Installation

PROCEDURE

Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the specified tightening torques.
