Bleeding the Brake Hydraulic System
PROCEDURE

1. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
Brake fluid dissolves paint, plastic and wire insulation. If brake fluid gets on the painted surfaces of the vehicle or its components, wash them immediately with plenty of water.
Do not depress the brake pedal during pressure bleeding.
2. Remove the cap from the bleeder screw and connect one end of a transparent hose to it. Insert the other end of the hose into a glass container of sufficient volume, half filled with brake fluid.
3. Slowly depress the brake pedal several times.

4. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder screw with a wrench and bleed air from the hydraulic system. Tighten the bleeder screw and release the brake pedal.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until brake fluid without air bubbles flows out.
6. Tighten the bleeder screw.
Torque: 7–9 N·m

7. Bleed air in the sequence shown in the illustration.
