Inspection

PROCEDURE

1. Check the brake hoses for cracks and local swelling. If necessary, replace the brake hose.
2. Check the brake tubes for cracks, damage and corrosion.
3. Check the brake hose flare nuts for damage and leakage.

Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Install the brake tubes without twisting them.
2. Brake hoses must be installed as far as possible from welds, edges or moving parts of the vehicle.
3. Tighten all connections to the specified torque.
Flare nut tightening torque: 13–17 N•m
Brake hose-to-front caliper tightening torque: 25–30 N•m
