The headlight beam must be adjusted using special equipment and in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Turn the adjusting screws alternately to adjust the headlight beam. If special equipment is not available, perform the adjustment as follows.

PROCEDURE

1. Adjust the tire pressure to the specified value. Only the driver, tools and spare wheel should be in the vehicle.
2. Park the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface in front of a screen or wall.
3. On the screen, draw vertical lines through the center of each headlight and a horizontal line at the center height of the headlights.
4. Turn on the headlights and, turning the adjusting screws, adjust their position so that the brightest area is aligned with the shaded area in the figure.
