Changing the LKA System Function

~1min read

The driver can change LKA to Lane Departure Warning (LDW) or change the LKA system mode between Standard LKA and Active LKA from the LCD display. Go to "User Settings → Driver Assistance → Lane Safety → Lane Departure Warning / Standard LKA / Active LKA".

The system is automatically set to Standard LKA if no function is selected.

The LKA system warns the driver with a visual warning and an audible warning when the system detects that the vehicle is departing from the lane. The steering wheel will not be controlled.

Standard LKA

Standard LKA mode helps the driver keep the vehicle within the lane. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is moving well inside the lane. However, it starts to control the steering when the vehicle is about to drift out of the lane.

Active LKA

Active LKA mode provides more frequent steering control compared to the Standard LKA mode. Active LKA can reduce driver fatigue by assisting steering to keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane.
