Purchasing a Used Vehicle

Delete Digital Key Settings When Purchasing a Used Vehicle

If any Digital Key (smartphone key or key card) is already registered when you press the ENGINE START/STOP button, the message "Digital Key(s) active" appears once on the instrument cluster. If you sell your vehicle or purchase a used Hyundai vehicle with the Digital Key function, confirm the message and delete the registered smartphone key and key card. For more information, contact a Hyundai Customer Service Center. If the key card does not operate properly, delete the key card, unregister the smartphone key, and re-register the key card.

Digital Key Service

If the Digital Key system is repaired or replaced, make sure your smartphone key is still active. You may need to re-link your phone using the Hyundai Digital Key App.
