Key not in vehicle

If the smart key is not in the vehicle and any door is opened or closed while the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ACC, ON or START position, a warning will be shown on the LCD display. In addition, when the smart key is not in the vehicle and the doors are closed, a warning chime will sound for 5 seconds.

Always keep the smart key with you.

If the smart key is not in the vehicle or is not detected and the ENGINE START/STOP button is pressed, a warning will be shown on the LCD display for 10 seconds.

In addition, the immobiliser indicator will flash for approx. 10 seconds.

If the ENGINE START/STOP button is pressed while the "Key is not detected" warning is shown on the LCD display, the message "Press the start button with smart key" will be displayed for 10 seconds. In addition, the immobiliser indicator will flash for approx. 10 seconds.

Low key battery

If the ENGINE START/STOP button is turned to the OFF position while the smart key battery is discharged and the key is in the vehicle, a warning will be shown on the LCD display for 10 seconds. In addition, the warning chime will sound once.

Replace the battery with a new one.

Press brake pedal to start engine (automatic transmission)

If the ENGINE START/STOP button is pressed twice to the ACC position and then pressed again repeatedly without depressing the brake pedal, a warning will be shown on the LCD display for 10 seconds, reminding the driver to depress the brake pedal to start the engine.

Press clutch pedal to start engine (manual transmission)

If the ENGINE START/STOP button is pressed twice to the ACC position and then pressed again repeatedly without depressing the clutch pedal, a warning will be shown on the LCD display for 10 seconds, reminding the driver to depress the clutch pedal to start the engine.
