Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in the fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel System - "Relieve Fuel Line Residual Pressure")

  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  3. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

  4. Remove the mounting nuts (B), then disconnect the fuel feed tube (A).

  5. Disconnect the vapor hose (A) connected to the PCSV.

  6. Raise the vehicle.

  7. Remove the fuel tank.

    (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Tank")

  8. Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the lower cover [LH].

  9. Remove the fuel line (A) after loosening the mounting bolts and bracket.
