Engine coolant replacement should be performed by an authorized Kia dealer at the intervals specified in the maintenance schedule at the beginning of this chapter.

CAUTION To prevent coolant from overflowing onto engine components such as the alternator, wrap a thick cloth or rag around the radiator cap before adding coolant. WARNING
  • Do not use engine coolant or antifreeze of this type to fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
  • After spraying the windshield, coolant may smear and seriously reduce visibility, which may cause loss of vehicle control or damage the paint and body finish.
