  1. After driving about 3 km (2 miles), stop in a suitable place.
  2. Connect the connector of the compressor hose 9 directly to the tire valve.
  3. Connect the compressor to the vehicle's power outlet using the cable and connectors.
  4. Set the tire pressure to 220 kPa (32 psi). With the ignition on, proceed as described.
  • To increase tire pressure: turn on the compressor, position I. To check the current tire pressure, turn off the compressor briefly.
WARNING Do not run the compressor for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the unit may overheat and be damaged.
  • To reduce tire pressure: press button 8 on the compressor.
CAUTION If the tire pressure does not hold, drive the vehicle a second time and refer to Distributing the Sealant. Then repeat steps 1 to 4. The TMK repair kit may be ineffective for tires with damage larger than approximately 4 mm (0.16 in).

If the tire cannot be repaired with the repair kit, contact the nearest Kia service center or a workshop that follows Kia repair procedures, with properly trained personnel.

WARNING The tire pressure must be at least 220 kPa (32 psi). If it is not, do not continue driving.
