The tachometer indicates engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Do not allow the engine speed to enter the red zone 1 .

WARNING

When the engine speed approaches the red zone, shift to a higher gear or reduce engine speed.

You may cause serious engine damage if you continue to run the engine while the needle is in the red zone.
