Never leave these keys in the vehicle.

Security indicator

The security indicator blinks when the ignition switch is in the OFF, LOCK, or ACC position.

This indicates that the NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer System is operating.

If the indicator remains on when the ignition switch is in the ON position, the NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer System is malfunctioning.

If the indicator stays on or the engine does not start, have the NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer System inspected by a NISSAN dealer as soon as possible. Bring all of your programmed keys when you go to a NISSAN dealer to have this system repaired.
