Side airbags
(depending on vehicle)
This is an airbag that can fit each front seat. It deploys from the side of the seat (door side) to protect occupants in the event of a severe side impact.
Curtain airbags
(depending on vehicle)
This is an airbag that can fit each upper side of the vehicle. It deploys along the front and rear side windows to protect occupants in the event of a severe side impact.
A marking on the windscreen reminds you of the presence of additional restraint systems (airbags, pretensioners, etc.) in the passenger compartment.
! Warning concerning side airbags- Seat covers: seats fitted with airbags require covers specific to your vehicle. Consult a Brand Representative to find out whether such covers are available. Using any other cover (or covers designed for another vehicle) could affect the correct operation of these airbags and compromise your safety.
- Do not place any accessory, object or even an animal between the seatback, door and interior trim. Do not cover the seatback with objects such as clothing or accessories either. This could affect the correct operation of the airbag or cause injury when it deploys.
- Any dismantling or modification of the seat and interior trim is prohibited, except by authorised personnel from the Brand Network.
- The slits in the front seatbacks (door side) mark the airbag deployment zone: do not insert any objects into them.
