Ignition on, operate lever 1 in the plane of the steering wheel:

   Off
2. 2
   Intermittent wiping

Between wipes, the blades stop for several seconds.

The time between wipes can be adjusted by turning ring 2.

Special feature

While driving, any stop of the vehicle reduces the wiping speed. From continuous fast wiping, you switch to continuous slow wiping. As soon as the vehicle moves again, wiping returns to the originally selected speed.

Any action on lever 1 takes priority and therefore cancels the automatic function.

In case of mechanical blockage (frozen windscreen, ...) the system automatically cuts the power supply to the wiper.

With this position selected, the system detects water on the windscreen and triggers wipes at the appropriate wiping speed. The trigger threshold and the time between wipes can be adjusted by turning ring 2.

Note: in fog or during snowfall, automatic wiping is not systematic and remains under the control of the driver.

Ignition on, pull lever 1 towards you.

A short action triggers, in addition to washing, one back-and-forth sweep of the wipers.

Holding the lever down triggers, in addition to the washer, three wipe cycles followed, after a few seconds, by a fourth.

In snow or frost conditions, clear the windscreen (including the central area behind the interior mirror) and the rear window before switching on the wipers (risk of motor overheating).

Turn the end of lever 1 until the symbol is aligned with marker 2.

The wiping frequency varies with vehicle speed.

Special feature

If the front wipers are operating, the rear wiper performs intermittent wiping when you engage reverse gear.

Turn the end of lever 1 until the symbol is aligned with marker 2.

When you release the lever, it returns to the rear wiper position.

Check the condition of the wiper blades.

Their service life depends on you:

• they must stay clean: clean the blades, the windscreen and the rear window regularly with soapy water;
• do not use them when the windscreen or rear window is dry;
• free them from the windscreen or rear window when they have not been used for a long time.

In all cases, replace them as soon as their effectiveness decreases: approximately once a year.

Before using the rear wiper, make sure no transported object obstructs the travel of the blade.

Do not use the rear wiper arm to open or close the tailgate.
