Interior locking and unlocking control

It allows the locks of all doors to be operated simultaneously.

Lock or unlock the doors by pressing switch 1.

If an opening (door or boot) is open or not properly closed, the openings lock/unlock quickly.

! Never leave your key inside the vehicle.

Locking the doors without the remote control

Engine off, ignition off, sliding side doors closed, one front door open: press and hold switch 1 for more than five seconds.

Make sure you have your key with you before leaving the vehicle.

When the door is closed, all doors will be locked.

Unlocking from outside the vehicle is only possible with the key, for the driver’s door.

Door status indicator

Ignition on, the indicator built into switch 1 shows the locking status of the doors:

• indicator on: openings locked;
• indicator off: at least one door is unlocked.

When you lock the doors, the indicator stays on and then goes off.

If you decide to drive with the doors locked, be aware that this may make it harder for rescuers to access the passenger compartment in an emergency.

Manual Control

Using the key

Lock or unlock the driver’s door by inserting the key fully into lock 2, then turning the key.

For more details on remote controls, refer to the section « Key, radio frequency remote control: use » in chapter 1.

Manual door locking

With the door open, turn screw 3 (using the end of the key) and close the door. The door is now locked from the outside.

It can then only be opened from inside the vehicle or with the key for the front doors.

Sliding side door (fuel filler cap side)

To prevent the door from striking the fuel filler nozzle, a mechanical system locks it as soon as the fuel filler flap is open.

After refuelling, replace the cap in its housing and close the flap. The door can be used again.
