UNDER-SEAT SWITCH

The driver's seat is fitted with a seat track position switch. This switch changes the inflation of the driver's frontal airbag (low or high volume) according to the driver's position and the severity of the impact.

Capteur de position siège

The seat position sensor resistance can be checked using the diagnostic tools:

  • Seat forward: sensor resistance = 400 Ω
  • Seat rearward: sensor resistance = 100 Ω
Note: The inflation volume of the passenger airbag does not change according to seat position.
