REMOVAL

IMPORTANT

Before removing any component of the safety system, lock the airbag control unit using the diagnostic tool. When this function is active, all firing circuits are inhibited and the airbag warning light on the instrument panel comes on steady (ignition on).

Contacteur d'inhibition
  • Remove:
  • the upper part of the front sill trim,
  • the side panel (1) of the dashboard.
  • Unclip the deactivation switch.

INSTALLATION

  • Refit in the reverse order of removal.
IMPORTANT

Check the airbag ECU using the diagnostic tool.

  • If everything is correct, unlock the airbag control unit; otherwise, refer to the diagnostic manual.
  • Check operation:
  • of the switch,
  • of the "airbag OFF" indicator.
